We're giving away two sets of books, including "The Demigod Diaries" by Rick Riordan, "Arlo Needs Glasses" by Barney Saltzberg and "Confessions of a Murder Suspect" by James Patterson.

Peebles - Decorating with Icing

Come learn how to create unique cake decorated cakes with icing techniques at the Peebles Library on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:00 pm. Deo Abellero will demonstrate how to use icing and decorating tools to craft a unique, beautifully decorated cake. This class is free and open to the public.

Come learn basic principles of flower arranging with Deo Abellero at the Peebles Library on Wednesday, May 8 at 5:00 pm. Learn color combinations, and how to create a professional-looking flower arrangement at home. This class is free and open to the public.

Genealogy 101 Class

On May 21, from 6 - 8:00 pm, the Adams County Genealogical Society will hold a free Genealogy 101 Class at the Adams County Heritage Center in West Union. All ages are welcome to come learn how to trace their family roots. The class will discuss how to get started, organize findings, interview relatives, find records, record information, and how to avoid mistakes.

Peebles - Book Drawing

We're celebrating National Library Month by appreciating you, our patrons! During April at the Peebles Library, enter your name in one of several drawings for books and other items, each time you check out books. On April 30, we'll draw a winning name for each prize. Prize winners can pick up their item by May 6; any items unclaimed will be re-drawn.

North Adams - Plant Exchange

The Adams County Master Gardeners are hosting their 9th Annual Plant Exchange on Saturday, April 27, in the Seaman Community Park, at 2:00 pm. Bring your plants to exchange by 1:30 pm, and receive a ticket for each plant you give. Starting at 2:00 pm, you can purchase plants others bring using your tickets.
