Come meet Cathy Lawson, learn about flowers, and help us plant flowers in the library's decorative planters. The Summer Reading Program is under way! Weekly SRP events will be on Wednesdays at 10:30 am.

Celebrate National Library Month

Join us as we Celebrate National Library Month at the Adams County Public Library.

All week, when you check out a book at the Peebles Library, enter your name in one of six drawings for new books, including adult and teen fiction, children's books, and cookbooks. We're offering books by popular authors including John Grisham, Jodi Picoult, Suzanne Collins, and Lemony Snicket, children's titles including "How Do Dinosaurs Laugh Out Loud," and two popular cookbooks. We'll draw the winning names on April 30.

This weekend, stop by the North Adams Library and enter your name in a drawing to win books for every member of the family. We're giving away two sets of books, including "The Demigod Diaries" by Rick Riordan, "Arlo Needs Glasses" by Barney Saltzberg and "Confessions of a Murder Suspect" by James Patterson. Set two includes "Beautiful Opps!" by Barney Saltzberg, "Let’s Go for a Drive" by Mo Williams and "Lincoln’s Last Days" by Bill O’Reilly. We'll draw the winning names on May 1.

North Adams - Youth Advisory Council

The North Adams Library Youth Advisory Council will meet on Thursday, April 18 at 4:30 pm. The YAC is a voice for teens in the North Adams Community, and helps contribute to and shape library programs that serve teens. Learn how you can join us! Call 937-386-2556.

                5:00 pm – Herb Workshop at the Manchester Library. Learn everything you need to know to prepare for herb planting this spring, including planting techniques for the most popular herbs, strategies for harvesting and preserving, taste samples, and more.
