North Adams Library Now Open on Moores Road
The North Adams Public Library is open in its new, permanent home at 2469 Moores Road in Seaman, next to the North Adams High School. The Adams County Public Library board, staff, and the local community gathered on September 29 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication for the new building. Thank you to the Friends of the North Adams Library, and to all the many groups and individuals who contributed time and effort to make this dedication such a successful event.
Stop by and visit the North Adams Library during regular library hours, Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. The library stays open until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Browse one of the thousands of new books, audio books, movies, and children's items, use the Internet on a library computer, borrow a library laptop to use in a study area in the building, or connect to our free 24/7 wireless Internet. Need to copy or send a document? Use our scanning station to make copies, send faxes, or scan documents to your USB drive or email account. Check out our dedicated teen area, where kids can read, study, or browse for new books.
