Dr. Seuss’s Birthday is celebrated March 2 with National Read Across America Day, North Adams Library will pay tribute to Dr. Seuss and his many readable characters during the month of March starting with The Lorax. 
 

Come learn to draw with artist and Library employee Donelle Lacy! Kids 10 - 16 can join in, as we practice drawing techniques and develop art skills. Younger siblings can join in Story Hour with Ms Tara. 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Have questions about Fair Housing Law, and what it means for you? Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, the legal aid law office for Adams County, will offer a series of free Fair Housing seminars. Bring your questions to the legal experts, and learn more about what fair housing law means for your household. The first presentations will be on February 27th, at the North Adams Library at 4:00 pm, and at the Peebles Library at 5:30 pm. This presentation will address housing discrimination based upon sources of income. This event is free and open to the public.

Everyone is invited to come learn about the history of Adams County’s Great Serpent Mound, at the West Union Library on Thursday, February 28, at 10:30 am. Richard Barnhouse will present an informational program about the Great Serpent Mound and the early Adena culture. Come see original artifacts and re-created objects from Adams County’s fascinating past.
