Using the Library Catalog
Learn to use the Library Catalog to find books and movies, request items be delivered to the library nearest you, and manage your library account. Use your library card number and PIN to view your checkouts, renew your items, and manage your holds and lists from home.

The Adams County Public Library offers you access to new and recently published books, and we add new titles every week. Stay informed about our newest items by browsing the New Books page.
Browse the library's newest titles in fiction, biography, book on CD, teen fiction, and much more. Click on a book cover to browse a summary of the book, and read a review. Follow a link to reserve that title in the Online Catalog, using your library card number and PIN.
Did you hear about a book this week on a radio or television program? Books on the Air offers a quick review of books mentioned in broadcast media during the past week - and lets you find them in the library catalog.

Try the MyHelp Wizard for step-by-step instructions, customized for your device. Watch a short video introducing the Online eBook Catalog, and learn to borrow eBooks using your library card and PIN.

Manchester - Book Sale

Come browse thousands of items, including books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and magazines. Many titles have been added since the last sale. Each mother who visits the sale will receive a free paperback book, in honor of Monther's Day.

Manchester - Roy Carpenter Music
Submitted by site_admin on Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:40pmPlan to visit the Manchester Library on Saturday, May 18 at 11:00 a.m. to hear local musician Roy Carpenter perform a collection of original and classic "work tunes" from the railroad, crossroads and jailhouse. Roy's performance includes guitar, dobro guitar, voice and harmonica.
All Libraries Closed April 9 for Staff In-Service
All Adams County Public Library locations will be closed on Tuesday, April 9 for a staff in-service day. Thank you for your patience. Any items due April 9 will be treated as due on April 10. Even when we are closed, you can return any item in our book drop, or use free WiFi at each library location. Normal hours will resume on April 10.
