On Thursday, May 24, the Manchester Public Library will be open from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, to accommodate a staff training event in the morning hours. Thank you for your understanding!

The Adams County Public Library staff is in the process of being trained on a new circulation software system.  SirsiDynix Symphony® Integrated Library System is scheduled to go “live” around June 7, 2012. 

This planned change in software will take place simultaneously in hundreds of Ohio public libraries.

As with any change, there could be some downtime and a few bumps and bruises along the way.  However, the end result will be worth it.  We are asking that you bear with us as we make these improvements.

Join us for the next family nutrition program as we focus on ways to eat healthy while staying within your food budget. On Wednesday, May 23, at 10:30 am, join us at the Manchester Library for a presentation on Meal Planning Tips to Save Money While Eating Healthy. We will sample a chili macaroni recipe!

Join us at the Manchester Library on Wednesday, May 16 at 5:30 pm for our monthly Anime Club meeting. The club is open to all teens who are in the seventh grade or older and it's free to join. Each month we watch an anime program, talk about our favorite animes and mangas, and more. Light snacks are provided.

Ebooks are becoming more and more popular, and so are digital devices for reading them. Did you know that you can borrow ebooks and other digital content from the Adams County Public Library? If you would like to learn how to check out library ebooks for your Kindle, Nook, or other handheld device, attend a free Ebook Help Session at the Manchester Public Library on Thursday, April 12, from 3 - 4:30 pm.
