The Adams County Master Gardeners are hosting their 9th Annual Plant Exchange on Saturday, April 27, in the Seaman Community Park, at 2:00 pm. Bring your plants to exchange by 1:30 pm, and receive a ticket for each plant you give. Starting at 2:00 pm, you can purchase plants others bring using your tickets.

The North Adams Library Youth Advisory Council will meet on Thursday, April 18 at 4:30 pm. The YAC is a voice for teens in the North Adams Community, and helps contribute to and shape library programs that serve teens. Learn how you can join us! Call 937-386-2556.

Kids, join us for an After School Special event at the North Adams Public Library, every Thursday at 3:30 pm. We'll have crafts, games, read books, and have fun!

The Fiber Crafters Circle meets the third Wednesday of each month at the North Adams Public Library, to share tips and tricks about all kinds of fiber craft projects, from knitting to crochet, from needlepoint to quilting. Everyone is welcome to join, of any skill level. For more information, call 937-386-2556.

All Adams County Public Library locations will be closed on Tuesday, April 9 for a staff in-service day. Thank you for your patience. Any items due April 9 will be treated as due on April 10. Even when we are closed, you can return any item in our book drop, or use free WiFi at each library location. Normal hours will resume on April 10.

                5:00 pm – Beginning Cake Decorating at the Peebles Library. Call in advance to register for this free, hands-on class. Learn cake planning and decorating techniques, and practice on your own mini-creation.
                5:00 pm – Herb Workshop at the Manchester Library. Learn everything you need to know to prepare for herb planting this spring, including planting techniques for the most popular herbs, strategies for harvesting and preserving, taste samples, and more.

Dr. Seuss’s Birthday is celebrated March 2 with National Read Across America Day, North Adams Library will pay tribute to Dr. Seuss and his many readable characters during the month of March starting with The Lorax.
