Celebrate National Library Month
Join us as we Celebrate National Library Month at the Adams County Public Library.
All week, when you check out a book at the Peebles Library, enter your name in one of six drawings for new books, including adult and teen fiction, children's books, and cookbooks. We're offering books by popular authors including John Grisham, Jodi Picoult, Suzanne Collins, and Lemony Snicket, children's titles including "How Do Dinosaurs Laugh Out Loud," and two popular cookbooks. We'll draw the winning names on April 30.
This weekend, stop by the North Adams Library and enter your name in a drawing to win books for every member of the family. We're giving away two sets of books, including "The Demigod Diaries" by Rick Riordan, "Arlo Needs Glasses" by Barney Saltzberg and "Confessions of a Murder Suspect" by James Patterson. Set two includes "Beautiful Opps!" by Barney Saltzberg, "Let’s Go for a Drive" by Mo Williams and "Lincoln’s Last Days" by Bill O’Reilly. We'll draw the winning names on May 1.
Peebles - Book Drawing

During April at the Peebles Library, enter your name in one of several drawings for books and other items, each time you check out books. On April 30, we'll draw a winning name for each prize. Prize winners can pick up their item by May 6; any items unclaimed will be re-drawn.
All Libraries Closed April 9 for Staff In-Service
All Adams County Public Library locations will be closed on Tuesday, April 9 for a staff in-service day. Thank you for your patience. Any items due April 9 will be treated as due on April 10. Even when we are closed, you can return any item in our book drop, or use free WiFi at each library location. Normal hours will resume on April 10.

5:00 pm – Beginning Cake Decorating at the Peebles Library. Call in advance to register for this free, hands-on class. Learn cake planning and decorating techniques, and practice on your own mini-creation.
5:00 pm – Herb Workshop at the Manchester Library. Learn everything you need to know to prepare for herb planting this spring, including planting techniques for the most popular herbs, strategies for harvesting and preserving, taste samples, and more.
