Join Donelle for Teen Art Class for kids 10 - 16 at the West Union Library, every other Thursday at 10:30 am. We'll learn about a historic art period, explore art techniques and media, and learn to create our own unique art using each technique. Parents and kids are encouraged to bring your own art supplies.

Kids, dress up and visit the West Union Library for our annual Book or Treat! Dress up in your best Halloween disguise, visit the library staff members in their offices, and receive a book or a treat. The Book or Treat will be held during Story Time with Ms Tara, on Thursday, October 31 from 10:30 - 11:30 am. See you there!
Kids ages 10 - 16, join Donelle for a Teen Art Class at the West Union Library, every other Thursday morning at 10:30 am. Artist and library employee Donelle L. will lead structured activities, teaching you drawing techniques, and introducing historic art periods and styles.
All Adams County Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, October 14 for a staff in-service day. No items will be due on October 14. Drop returns in the book return window at any library, or stop by outside to use the library's free wifi connection.
Join Natalie Parker at the West Union Library from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, to learn how to craft your own hand-made jewelry. Participants should bring their own wire cutter and needle-nose pliers, but jewelry supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring your own special beads to items to incorporate into your own custom jewelry! This event is free, but space is limited.
Family Nutrition Program - Join Marsha McCormick at the library, as we focus on eating a variety of protein foods with special attention given to beans. All participants will receive a bean-themed cookbook. Adults are invited to attend the Family Nutrition Program, to learn about ways to feed your family a healthy diet on a budget, while children attend Story Time at 10:30 am.

The West Union Library invites you to join them for a Back to School Ice Cream Social on Monday, August 19, at 3:30 pm. Come help us celebrate the end of summer activities, as we get ready to go back to school. We'll be serving ice cream on the lawn behind the West Union Library to kids of all ages between 3:30 and 4:30 pm. See you at the library!
